Why Integrity?

We are a locally owned service company that has been in business since 2005. As natives to Putnam County, we treat all our customers like they are our neighbors and do all our work with integrity. We strive to live up to our name in the way we deal with our customers. We want them to make informed decisions about their heating and cooling needs. We present them with options and do not resort to high-pressure sales gimmicks.

What We Offer.

Heating and Air Repair

We work on most major brands of heating and cooling equipment and offer competitive pricing. Our technicians are factory-trained, have EPA licenses, and are licensed electricians.

Preventative Maintenance

We recommend semi-annual preventative maintenance on your heating and cooling systems. This not only limits the number of unexpected breakdowns but also extends the life of your system.

Indoor Air Quality

We offer several options to help keep your home comfortable. They are fresh air intake, plasma air cleaners, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and whole-house air filters. We also offer energy-saving thermostats that offer Wi-Fi operation from your phone.

Installations

While we pride ourselves on getting the most life out of your unit, we understand that all units will need to be replaced at some point in time. We would love to help you make an informed decision. We offer several brands of heating and cooling equipment at all efficiency levels, and in multiple price ranges.

Ted Jernigan and his team are the best! Our house is 50 plus yrs and some rooms were getting very little heating and cooling. After Ted and his associate went all through our house(as well below and in the attic) for several hrs., they had a plan to rework it in order to get the airflow we needed. During the process of installing our new unit, Ted and his team kept me informed and did not mind to change a few things as needed. Ten yrs ago when we were replacing a different unit with another reputable company, this same reworking was supposed to happen at that time to get better airflow and it didn't get done. Ted is honest and does what he says he will do. We will always use Ted and his team from here on out!

Ted Jernigan was born and raised in Monterey, TN. After graduation from Monterey High School, he pursued a career in the field of heating and air conditioning. He completed the HVAC Technology program at the State Area Vocational Technical School (today known as TCAT Crossville) and worked in the industry for over 13 years. In 2005, Ted decided to start his own business. His wife Carolyn picked the name Integrity because she believed it perfectly described Ted’s character. Ted holds himself and those who work for him to very high standards in providing the best service possible. He and Carolyn continue to run Integrity Heating and Cooling together to this day.
